Movement
Emily is the co-owner/co-director of YogaSource, a well-established studio with a robust offering of classes in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She teaches grounded, strong, stretchy classes designed to help students “bring forth what is [already] within” them. In addition to yoga, Emily also teaches strength training as a vital component of staying healthy, resilient, & connected to one’s physical potential.
Her classes focus on making the choice to be mindful: to tune into—& invest in—relationships with body, mind, breath, earth, air, & gravity as opportunities to inquire into deeper levels of awareness & build intimacy with ourselves, each other, & the gift of each moment in this astonishing world. Whether through mindful asana or intentional strength work, her approach centers the holistic integration of strength, mobility, & awareness. Expect welcoming energy, warm community, poems, joy & levity (at least one bad dad joke per class).
All spiritual journeys have a destination of which the traveller in unaware,’ said theologian Martin Buber. Most of us who start out on the yoga mat do not realize that, if we dedicate ourselves to the practice, it is only a matter of time until the mat becomes an altar.

FRIDAY
VINYASA FLOW TO THE MUSIC
Fridays | 9:00 - 10:15 am MT
Move, stretch, and flow with intention in this dynamic class. Vinyasa Flow to The Music is an invitation to explore your embodied experience through creative movement sequences that encourage openness and release. Strong yet taking time to build, & set to a curated soundtrack, this class begins on the ground with core strengthening exercises, joint mobility and somatic rolling, moves through sun salutations & standing poses, and winds down to floorwork before savasana. Vinyasa Flow to The Music blends fluid transitions, breath-driven movement, and intuitive exploration to help you tune into sensation, expression, and presence.
ON THE GROUND
Fridays | 10:30 - 11:45 am MT
This class, entirely on the ground, blends core strengthening work, somatic rolling, active stretching, and breath to invite strong yet accessible posture exploration. Meant to empower and reinforce functional mobility, the practice invites you to move with intention—cultivating patience, awareness, and resilience all while staying grounded. With curiosity and care, students are encouraged to look inward, nurture attention, and discover the complexity and beauty of a full, floor-based practice.

SATURDAY
STRENGTHEN & STRETCH
Saturdays | 8:45 - 10:00 am MT
Not a yoga class, this movement session is the best kept high-energy strength meets community meets dance party secret in Santa Fe! In the non-gym based setting of the studio, build muscle mass with a tailored approach rooted in breath-focused & alignment-based movements. Class begins with a dynamic warm-up, moves into mat-based core work, progresses into a series of full-body strength exercises with dumbbells—with upbeat cardio conditioning peppered in, and winds down into a short stretch into savasana.
GENTLE & STRONG
Saturdays | 12:15 - 1:30 pm MT
Gentle & Strong is a steady & strong yoga class with a gentle, supportive approach to such posture exploration. Gentle yet empowering, this practice invites you to move with intention, exploring strong actions in a way that feels accessible and sustainable. Each posture is an invitation to engage with stability and endurance while staying connected to breath and awareness. With an emphasis on patience, engagement, & curiosity, this practice helps build resilience without strain. Suitable for all levels, Gentle & Strong offers a space to support you in finding inner strength without force, allowing you to explore movement with grace and presence.

SUNDAY
YIN
Sundays | 12:15 - 1:15 pm MT
This class utilizes long-holds of 3-7 minutes in yin postures to directly target the body’s connective tissue and amplify spaciousness. Though yin is conducted entirely on the ground, the modality is not restorative —students use compression, tension, gravity, patience, and time to explore their relationship with discomfort and build resilience.
