Emily is the namesake founder of the Pizza Loves Emily and Emmy Squared restaurant groups, boasting thirty locations worldwide. Emily founded the original location, EMILY, in 2014 in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, with her chef partner and then-husband, Matt Hyland, which serves wood-fired thin-crust pies and the globally famous Emmy Burger.

In 2016, Emily and Matt opened their Detroit-style pizza concept, Emmy Squared, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Emily started as the organization’s CEO and brand ambassador. Now, she focuses her attention on supporting operations at the original location.
